What is EOAN?
The Hellenic Recycling Organization (E.O.AN.) within its responsibilities, ensures the organization and observance of the National Register of Producers (E.M.PA. in which all producers of packaging and other products belonging to Alternative Management (except Excavation, Construction and Demolition Waste) are registered.
The categories of activities that must be registered are the producers of:
- Packaging,
- Electric columns and accumulators,
- Electricity and electronic equipment,
- Vehicles and tires,
- Lubricating Oils.
The National Register of Producers is an operational tool for the systematic monitoring of compliance by the producers of packaging and other products with the requirements of thecurrent legislation regarding the alternative management of the above products.
